Strongholds Worships Through Music

They started playing in a garage but when the neighbors complained about the noise level, Strongholds decided to find venues that would welcome their music. Now praising God through Christian contemporary praise worship music for 17 years, Strongholds takes their name from Psalm 9:9: The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Mixing Arabic, French, and English lyrics in an easy listening style, the non-denominational Christian band’s mission is to inspire a worshiping generation of youth. MEU welcomed them to the campus Tuesday, May 30 and, together with guests from the community, enjoyed the upbeat music along with an encouraging devotional thought about Jesus as the Bread of Life.
